1. Digital Downloads (PDFs, Workbooks, Journals)
All of our PDF workbooks, booklets, and digital journals are delivered instantly via download after purchase.
Please note: Because these are digital products, they are non-refundable and non-returnable. If you have any trouble accessing your download, please contact us at [your email] and we’ll be happy to help.
2. Handmade Items & Physical Journals/Books
Shipping:
Our handmade items and physical journals/books are sent directly from our little creative studio in Suffolk via Royal Mail. Many items are made to order, and we aim to dispatch your order as soon as possible.
Please allow up to 5 working days for dispatch during busy periods, as we are a small business and sometimes create items especially for you.
Returns & Damages:
We do not offer exchanges or refunds for handmade items or journals/books, unless your item arrives damaged or defective.
If your order arrives damaged, please email us at scarletlotusuk@gmail.com within 14 days of receipt with your order number and clear photos of the damage.
After 14 days, we are unable to offer replacements or refunds.
3. Clothing & Merchandise (Print-on-Demand Items)
How it works:
All clothing and merchandise (such as t-shirts, swimwear, and bags) are designed by Clare and printed to order. When you place an order, it is sent directly to our ethical fulfilment centre, where it is made and shipped straight to your door. This “print-on-demand” model helps us reduce waste and ensures fair wages for garment workers.
Shipping Details:
Most garments are shipped from our UK fulfilment centre.
Occasionally, if there are stock shortages, your item may be shipped from our European fulfilment centre.
Delivery times may vary, but this usually does not affect your shipping cost.
Orders over £130 – Important Information:
Due to changes following the UK’s departure from the EU, orders over £130 shipped from Europe may be subject to import VAT or customs fees. These fees are typically collected by the delivery company (such as Royal Mail or the courier) at the time of delivery.
The fees are usually modest, but to avoid unexpected costs, we recommend splitting large orders so that each total is below £130.
Returns & Exchanges:
Because each item is made to order especially for you, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for print-on-demand clothing and merchandise unless the item is faulty or damaged.
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 14 days of receipt with your order number and photos.
